Airline Transportation

You will be flying into the Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW). Association Travel Concepts (ATC) is the official travel management company for the 2008 Convention & Exhibit. ATC is available for reservations from 9:00 am until 7:30 pm Eastern Time, Monday through Friday. Some restrictions may apply. Service fees apply.

ATC offers these cost saving options:

  • Up to 15 percent off applicable classes of service for tickets purchased more than 30 days prior to the meeting. Restrictions apply and not all classes of service apply for the 15 percent discount. (United) 5 percent off applicable classes of service for tickets purchased prior to the meeting.   • ATC will also search for the lowest available fare on ANY airline.

Taxi Service

Taxi service is available on the upper level of Terminals A, B, C and E, and on the lower level of Terminal D.

An Airport Guest Assistant will be available at the taxi stands between 8:00 AM and midnight. Between midnight and 8:00 AM, dial 972 574 5878 to request a taxi.

The approximate fare from Dallas Forth Worth International Airport to the Gaylord Texan Resort and Convention Center is $24.

Shuttle Express

Super Shuttle saves you money by sharing the ride with other passengers with a direct trip to the airport, with stops at each terminal being utilized by Gaylord Texan guests.

When taking Super Shuttle, please plan for a one-hour trip each way between the resort and the airport. Upon arrival to the airport you must use the phones in Baggage Claim to call Super Shuttle for pickup.

Pricing for Super Shuttle Shared Rides
•  DFW Airport: $12 per person
•  Love Field: $22 per person

Shuttles depart the front drive of the hotel daily between 5:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. The DFW shuttle departs every 20 minutes, and the Love Field shuttle departs on the hour during this time.

Area Attractions

The Gaylord Texan Resort and Convention Center is centrally located in the heart of Texas, just outside Dallas-Fort Worth, and near fantastic theme parks, sports arenas and local attractions. After Convention, out to the ballpark for a baseball game at Ameriquest Field or catch an NBA or NHL game at American Airlines Center. What visit would be complete without a visit to Texas Stadium, home of America's team -- The Dallas Cowboys.

Enjoy the water at nearby Silver Marina on Lake Grapevine where you can rent a boat or grab a burger at the lakeside restaurant. Shop to your heart's content at Grapevine Mills Mall. Shopping may get your pulse rate up, but to really get it racing, check out the new Wild West at the Mesquite Championship Rodeo or sample the wild rides at Six Flags Over Texas.
